1. Acknowledgment of Program Nature
I, the undersigned, understand that Polyglots provides language immersion programs that include physical activities, gym games, and outdoor play in Calgary public parks. I acknowledge that the “Play-Immersion” method involves active participation and movement.
2. Assumption of Risk
I am aware that participation in Polyglots Summer Camps, including activities at locations such as Banff Trail, Crescent Heights, Dalhousie, and Lakeview, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:
Physical injury during gym games or outdoor activities.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions in Calgary parks.
Participation in “Kitchen Science” experiments involving various materials.
3. Medical Disclosure and Allergies
I agree to provide Polyglots with all necessary medical information and emergency contacts during the Corsizio registration process.
I acknowledge that Polyglots strives to maintain a nut-free environment at all locations, but cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free space.
I certify that my child is physically fit to participate in the program and that I have disclosed any relevant health conditions or allergies.
4. Release of Liability
In consideration of my child being permitted to participate in Polyglots programs, I hereby release and hold harmless Polyglots, its owner, employees, and contractors from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising out of any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained while participating in any on-site or online activities.
5. Media and Photography Release
I understand that Polyglots may capture photographs or video footage of program activities for use in promotional materials, such as the company website or YouTube channel. I hereby grant permission for my child’s likeness to be used for these professional purposes unless I provide a written objection prior to the start of the program.
6. Governing Law
This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
