Preschool / Kindergarten
Coming Winter 2022, we will offer language immersion programs in French and Spanish for children ages 4 – 5.
In our play based programs, children are able to gain a strong foundation in the language. This helps them excel in academic programs such as French Immersion or Spanish Bilingual programs.
Research studies particularly support starting bilingual education at the preschool level. Young children learn readily and naturally through play-like activities. They are less self-conscious about making mistakes than older learners and mimic new sounds which allows them to develop native-like pronunciation.
Our Approach
Polyglots offers a fun, natural way for your child to learn a language. We use songs, stories, games, drama and play to teach key grammar and vocabulary. The program includes:
- Targeted French or Spanish instruction
- A lively integration of music
- Arts and crafts
- Science/Engineering activities
- Storytime
- Drama
- Gross motor development
- Fine motor skills
